We’d just like to say a massive thank you for your efforts in selling our rental properties at Darby and Morgan Street’s.

Darby St was always going to sell easily but to get full asking price the Monday following the first open house was simply outstanding!  We were absolutely over the moon with the result but didn’t over react as we had in our minds the challenge of Morgan St ahead.

My thoughts with Morgan St were to ask the tenant to move out  and spend a month tidying the place up before putting it on the market in March.

You convinced us to strike while the iron was hot and although the place passed in at auction it sold only a couple of weeks later. The advice to sell now rather than later saved me a huge amount of time and money – both on money spent on the property and the rent I would have lost by vacating the property. In real terms this meant that we ended up getting another outstanding result that we are extremely happy with.

Further to my phone call earlier I would like to confirm my appreciation for the manner in which Chapman Property has looked after my property dealings in recent years.

I originally purchased an investment unit in the Nova West complex – my first venture into an investment property.  That purchase was through Chapman, as was the subsequent sale some years later. Your property management section also done an excellent job of handling the tenancy arrangements.

About 5 years ago I purchased, off the plan, a unit in the Harbour Pier complex on Wharf Road. That purchase was through another agent who wanted to look after the tenancy.  I declined their offer, preferring to continue using the Chapman organisation as we were extremely pleased with the service received for Nova West.

I recently sold the Harbour Pier unit, again choosing Chapman to look after that for us.  Sam Kolatchew handled the sale in an extremely professional and friendly manner and achieved an excellent sale price in a relatively short time. My wife and I were overseas for 5 weeks after listing the unit but Sam always kept us up to date and well informed about everything.

Kirsten did an excellent job of looking after the tenancy arrangements and was always an absolute pleasure to deal with. We felt that she looked after the unit as if it was her own.  The unit looked as good when it sold as it did 5 years ago when new.

If I enter the real estate market again, my first call will be to Chapman Property for the professional and friendly service.
