Chapman Strata is a family business that was founded by prominent local businessman, Colin Chapman, in 1984.

Colin was a proud Novocastrian who initially established Chapman Property in 1971 to help local people with their property rental and sales requirements.

He always strove to build the profile of business and real estate in the Hunter region. As such, our focus is and always has been, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

Now owned by his son David, Chapman Strata offers a personalised home-grown service. For each Owners Corporation we provide a Strata Manager who is available to answer any queries or concerns you may have regarding your property. We also provide a out-of-hours service, ensuring any emergencies are able to be dealt with quickly and efficiently after-hours or on weekends.

All our Strata Managers are experienced individuals who have the expertise and understanding to guide your body corporate, as well as act as an objective party in discussions, disputes and meetings.

As the legislation has become more complex and new types of schemes have been established, Chapman Strata has a commitment to the ongoing education of our staff to ensure we are always able to effectively advise our clients.

This process has led to our appointment as an adviser to a number of local legal firms, to assist with some of the more demanding areas of strata management such as Community Title and Stages Schemes.
